What is ESTA?+
ESTA is an electronic travel authorization for eligible travelers from Visa Waiver Program countries. It is generally valid for two years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. Do Brazilian citizens need ESTA to visit the United States?+
A Brazilian passport alone does not qualify a traveler for ESTA. Brazilian citizens generally need the appropriate U.S. visitor visa unless they independently qualify for the Visa Waiver Program with another eligible nationality. What is the difference between ESTA, eTA and e-Visa?+
ESTA is US pre-travel auth. eTA is Canada/Australia's equivalent. An e-Visa is a full visa applied for online (India, Kenya, etc.) — takes 2-4 days. All must be obtained before boarding.
Can US citizens visit Europe without a visa?+
Yes — US passport holders can visit all Schengen Area countries visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period.
